How can I tell if my phone number has been flagged as spam?

There is no single tool that can check whether a phone number has been flagged as spam across all carriers. However, common indicators include recipients seeing “Spam” or “Potential Spam” when receiving your calls, or experiencing calls that are blocked or rejected.

Why might my phone number be flagged as spam?

Phone numbers may be flagged by mobile carriers or third-party spam-detection services based on factors such as calling patterns, call volume, recipient reports, and other reputation-related factors. These systems operate independently of Tymbl.

How can I remove a spam label from my number?

If your number has been flagged, you can submit a removal request directly to the appropriate carrier or spam-reporting service, such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T/Hiya, or the Free Caller Registry:

https://freecallerregistry.com/fcr/

Please note that Tymbl cannot directly remove spam labels, as these are managed by the carriers and third-party services.

Can Tymbl remove the spam designation from my number?

No. Spam designations are controlled by individual carriers and third-party spam-detection services. Tymbl does not have direct control over these designations or their removal.

What happens if someone calls our number back?

If someone returns a call to your outbound number, it is recommended to have an inbound forwarding destination configured. This allows the call to be routed to your team or to an informational message.

Why is it important to have inbound call forwarding configured?

Having a callback destination ensures that recipients have a way to reach you when they return a call. It may also help prevent the number from being considered an unanswerable or suspicious number by some carriers.
